Patient Registration and Admissions — Full Time ⬇️
Norton County Hospital has a full-time employment opportunity in our admissions area of Outpatient Services. This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Typical hours will be 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., however may vary at times to provide registration coverage. Primary responsibilities include registering patients, insurance verification, point-of-service payment estimation and collection, providing and explaining forms to patients, answering any patient questions, and helping patients feel comfortable when waiting to see the physician or other ancillary departments. This position also reviews and updates admission records from non-business hours.
The Patient Access Representative is often the first person a patient or visitor sees when they arrive at the facility. This applicant must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Applicant must also have strong computer skills and work efficiently with attention to detail. Dietary – Part Time ⬇️
Norton County Hospital has a part-time employment opportunity in our Dietary Department. This position would work 2 to 3 weekdays that would primarily be evening 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shifts. This position will also work every other weekend and every other holiday. Duties include helping with lunch and preparing supper as well as department cleaning.
