Patient Registration and Admissions — Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a career opportunity in our admissions area of the business office for a Patient Access Representative. This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Primary responsibilities include registering patients, insurance verification, point of service payment estimation and collection, providing and explaining forms to patients, answering any patient questions, and helping patients feel comfortable when waiting to see the physician or other ancillary departments. The Patient Access Representative is often the first person a patient or visitor sees when they arrive at the facility. This applicant must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Applicant must also have strong computer skills and work efficiently with attention to detail. Medical Clinic Aide — Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time position available for an aide in the Norton Medical Clinic. Primary responsibilities include assisting providers, collecting vital statistics and reason for coming to the clinic, and maintaining the electronic medical record for patients. Normal schedule is Monday-Friday during clinic hours. Must be a team player, have excellent communication skills, and be respectful and courteous. Occupational Therapist – Part Time or PRN

Norton County Hospital has a part-time or PRN career opportunity for an Occupational Therapist in our Rehabilitation department. Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and have current or obtain Kansas licensure prior to start date. This position will have varying hours Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Qualified applicant should be able to work in a busy, up-tempo environment with a mix of inpatient and outpatient evaluations and treatments. Housekeeping — Full Time or Part Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time or part-time employment opportunity in our Environmental Services department. Environmental Services staff are responsible for cleaning all areas of the hospital, clinic and facilities. The full-time position is scheduled 8-hour shifts and has rotating weekend and holiday schedules which include differential pay. Shift start times will vary based on duties assigned. Part-time may qualify for some benefits depending on hours.

Medical Clinic Patient Access Representative – Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time employment opportunity for a Patient Access Representative in the Norton Medical Clinic. Primary responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, scheduling clinic appointments, registering patients, insurance verifications, point of service payment explanation including collections, and answering patient questions. The Patient Access Representative is often the first person visitors see at the facility. This applicant must have excellent customer service and computer skills, the ability to multi-task, great attention to detail, and constant focus on quality and confidentiality. The work week for this position is based upon office hours of the clinic, includes some Saturday mornings, and has a normal work week of 40 hours. Dietary – Full Time or Part Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time or part-time employment opportunity in our Dietary Department. This position works varied shifts that would include day (5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) and evening hours and will be scheduled every other weekend from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Duties include helping with breakfast, lunch and supper as well as department cleaning. Dietary staff have rotating weekend and holiday shifts, which include additional pay for those shifts. NCH offers competitive starting wages. Benefits would be determined on the scheduled hours per week and may include paid time off; KPERS retirement, life and long-term disability insurance; and health insurance if hours qualify.

Ultrasound/Radiology Technologist – Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time career opportunity for a Radiology Technologist with Ultrasound. Applicant must have ARRT and ARDMS certification or eligible for certification. Applicant will work in the Radiology department, which offers general radiology, CT, ultrasound and mammography. Normal schedule is five days per week with rotating radiology on-call schedule for nights, weekends and holidays. Applicant should be caring, committed and motivated to provide quality patient care with excellent communication and computer skills. The PRN assignments would be a variety of 12-hour nursing shifts when available for RN, LPN or CNAs.
