Registration and Admissions position – Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a career opportunity in our admissions area of the business office for a Patient Access Representative. This position is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm. Primary responsibilities include registering patients, insurance verification, point of service payment estimation and collection, providing and explaining forms to patients, answering any patient questions, and helping patients feel comfortable when waiting to see the physician or other ancillary departments. The Patient Access Representative is often the first person a patient or visitor sees when they arrive at the facility. This applicant must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Applicant must also have strong computer skills and work efficiently with attention to detail. Office Assistant for Laboratory Department – Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in our Laboratory Department. Position is 36 hours Monday through Friday. Primary responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

RN – Full Time Night Shift

Norton County Hospital has a full-time career opportunity for an RN to join our health care team. This position is 12-hour night shifts, with rotating weekends and holiday schedule. This position will work with acute, skilled and intermediate levels of patient care as well as in labor and delivery. Maintenance — Experienced or Entry Level — Full Time

Norton County Hospital has an experienced or entry level career opportunity for a full-time maintenance staff in our Engineering department. This position assists with the grounds keeping, maintenance, upkeep and repair of the building. Further training is provided in areas such as climate control, plumbing, water, natural gas, electrical, mechanical, medical gas, communications, carpentry, painting, plastering, refinishing, grounds keeping and institutional equipment. This position will share in the on-call schedule for the department. Applicants with previous building maintenance experience welcome to apply.

RN, LPN and CNA — PRN shifts & outpatient

Norton County Hospital has PRN positions available for RNs, LPNs and CNAs to join our health care team. The PRN assignments would be a variety of 12-hour nursing shifts when available for RN, LPN or CNAs. RN may also be assigned to outpatient services such as infusions and dressing changes and specialty clinics. This is an opportunity to work in a progressive hospital and community.

Surgery Scrub Technologist/Nurse — PRN or Part Time

Norton County Hospital has a PRN or part-time employment opportunity for an experienced Scrub Tech position. Applicant must be either a RN, LPN or Scrub Technologist with two years of experience working in surgery preferred. Part-time position may qualify for some benefits depending on hours scheduled.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to pre-operative cleaning of surgery equipment, preparing sterile equipment and supplies, assists surgeon with prepping patient, post-op dressings and prepare for recovery room, prepares surgical specimen for laboratory, and post-op disinfection.
